Mission

To build capacity of individuals and institutions for achieving sustainable development through socially and environmentally sound interventions based on equity, justice and human rights. As as strategy LDF strives to build local capacity for ensuring availability of information and technology and attempts to strengthen linkages with locally available infrastructure of health, education, rural development and micro-credit. In accord with our vision and mission, we ave undertaken various program activities in the following areas:

• Livelihood & Micro-financing
• Gender
• Human Rights and Child Protection
• Disaster Management
• Life Institute for excellence (LIFE)

Gender, poverty, human/child rights are also our cross cutting themes that we incorporate in our programs/activities.
