Health is one of the core areas of LDF program. Currently, Foundation is currently running a medical centre in Tarnol Phatak of Islamabad focusing on provision of mother and child health services to the poor residents of Tarnol Phatak. LDF has been providing quality medical services through medical camps since long, not only as a component of its disaster management program but also as a relief measure for poor communities who cannot afford good medical services either due to non-availability or price.
First Free Medical Camp
First free medical camp was organized in Pir Jo Goth, Khair Pur, Sindh in January, 2010. There were total 8 doctors, 5 male and 3 lady doctors.
Second Free Medical Camp
Second free medical camp was organized in Model High School, Burma Town, Islamabad in March, 2010. A team of S.W.O.R.D’s enthusiastic doctors joined us.
Third Free Medical Camp
Third free medical camp was organized in City English Grammar School, Girja Road Dhoke Syedian Rawalpindi in April, 2010.
Fourth Free Medical Camp
Fourth free medical camp was organized in Government Girls Degree College, Dhoke Hasoo, Rawalpindi, in June 2010.
