Life Development Board Member Annie Burnett Goodrum Wright
Board Member Wright has left her indelible footprints on the soul of the Life Development Foundation. It was in January 1991 when she along with 5 others signed the articles of incorporation establishing the life development foundation. She served as the first chair of the foundation.
Board Member Wright was intricately involved in the buying of the property and managing the construction of a half million-dollar structure for the members of The Baton Rouge Sigma Alumnae Chapter as its Life Development Center.
Board Member Wright was one of the sixteen ladies who signed the mortgage. Board Member Wright served as Treasurer under six Chairs for a span of 23 years. As Treasurer, Board Member Wright managed to pay the fifteen-year mortgage off in ten years.
In honoring the contributions of our deserving beloved board member, the foundation established a scholarship in the name of Board Member Annie B Goodrum Wright.
Annie B. Wright’s footprints will be our guide as we continue to execute the mission of the life development foundation.
